Farming Systems Ltd. is a family-run business, which specialises in technical consulting. We can provide expertise across a wide range of software and hardware areas. We work with companies to provide the highest possible quality technical solution by defining the real need using Systems Engineering techniques, reducing risk and cost.

The company is currently made up of Adrian and Aaron Hutton. Adrian has over 25 years of experience in the technology and aerospace industry and has worked on some of the largest projects in the industry, including the ESA ExoMars Rover. Aaron graduated from the University of Cambridge, having read Computer Science with Mathematics and worked in industry on big data mobile apps and large-infrastructure applications, before joining Farming Systems Ltd. We complement each other: Adrian has detailed Systems Engineering experience and a broad breadth of technical knowledge, from robotics to satellite communications; Aaron has been writing software for 8 years and can understand complex problems quickly.

We believe we achieve the highest quality due to the System Engineering process we take with customers. We listen, build up a list of requirements with verifiable outcomes and agree to these with the customer. We perform the work, with the requirements at the forefront of our approach. Then, when the work is completed, we can illustrate to the customer how the requirements have been met.
